The magazine publishes articles related to health, education, behaviour and nutrition of children, pregnancy tips, food recipes etc. But specializes in publishing articles based on care of kids between the Age group from birth to 14 years. The magazine's first edition was published in the year 1984 as a 48 page saddle-stitched book and Beverly L. Topping played a Crucial role behind the creation of the magazine. The magazine is owned and operated by Rogers Communications and is published once in a month. The magazine holds a large circulation of over 165,000 copies further which reaches to around 1.6 million readers. The magazine publishes interviews of experts, councilors and others that hold long experience in the field of children care.
